Blog Tutorial: Advanced: Password-Protecting Posts

As we all know, blogs are made to share our thoughts to the whole world. However, some of our posts might be too private for everyone to see, and we want to limit the readers to our closest friends. This is where the password-protected posts come in.

You can protect your posts from eyes of people who you don’t know very well on the “Write Post” or “Manage Posts” sections of your blog. You can begin by typing in your entry as in a regular blog. Once you’re done, you can set the password by entering the word you want on the “Post Password” area (see the highlighted area of the image). Publish it. When you view your blog, what should appear should not be the entry, but a bar asking for the password from the viewer.

Be sure to tell your friends what your password is, or else they won’t be able to read what you wrote!

SanrioTown Blog of the Week!

You’ll be looking at the world, er, blog with rose-tinted glasses with Rei Kuassary’s “@}~,~~roseate~~`~{@” blog.

“Roseate” is actually the perfect name for her blog, because it’s really all about pink! From her link banner, to font color, to her mood icons, it’s all positively screaming pink.:D All of rei’s posts are about cuteness and fun, and the shade just adds to its fun factor.

You can check out Rei’s blog by clicking here, its title, or the image above.

DreamStudio Video of the Week!

Love can be seen in a variety of ways: love for a mother to a child, between friends, spouses, girlfriends and boyfriends… There is, however, such a thing as unrequited love, where one thinks that s/he has already found it, only to discover that it has never been his/hers after all.

This is the subject of our featured video this week. Appropriately titled “Love,” by nhungcoi, the video shows what it is with this bittersweet thing we all will experience at one point or the other. The graphics include really beautiful images and it features a really good song to go along with the mood of the video. All in all, it’s a very well-made creation, and even if the story’s sad, it will still make those who’ve ever experienced love in their lives relate to it.

Focus on: Pochacco’s Balloon Game

Spend a fun day at the festival by helping our favorite white dog hand out balloons to his many friends in Pochacco’s Balloon. Sounds easy? Not by a long shot, as each animal has differing speeds and directions, and have awful tempers to boot! Better have their balloons ready for them, or they’ll walk out on you!

Play the game now by clicking on the game title or on the images above. Make sure you get a SanrioTown account first, otherwise, you won’t be able to!
